Facebook is a great way to gain and engage new customers onto your page, which is what every business owner with a Facebook page wants to happen across industries and businesses. Facebook can be a great tool to use to attract new customers to book an appointment at your salon, increase online sales for your store, or drive more downloads for your software. It also gives you a competitive advantage over the hundreds of other businesses in your area. Follow these tips and give your Facebook page a face-lift!

  1. Post a compelling cover image: This is one of the first things people viewing your page see. Because it is the first thing potential customers see, you want your cover image to be something compelling, interesting, and something that they will remember. It’s always important to make a good first impression! Here are 6 easy tools to create that perfect image.
  2. Introduce your team: This is a great way to build relationships between staff members and customers. There will also be a higher level of trust the more your customers know about the stylists who will potentially be handling their hair. Try something like “Employee of the Week” where each week a different employee will be featured.
  3. Try hosting a contest: People love contests and free giveaways! Create a post advertising for a free gift card or free product with your next purchase. In order for someone to be entered, they must comment and like the post. This will increase customer engagement on your page and increase the number of people visiting your page.
  4. Post consistently: Make sure you are regularly creating interesting posts for your Facebook page. Try things like how-to videos, before and after pictures, or a tip of the day.

Try out these Facebook tips and watch your business blossom!
