We see it almost every day, someone going ‘Live’ on Facebook. I see it most when people are traveling, at a concert, or at a social event! But how can you use this (newer) feature to benefit your business? It’s easier than you think and it’s an awesome way to engage with your customers. Here are 6 ways you can use Facebook ‘Live’ in your business.
- Addressing Your Latest Blog – Facebook live makes it easier than ever to answer questions your followers might have about your latest blog. Instead of answering the same question individually, again and again, you can answer it once and reach everyone!
- Give a Behind the Scenes Look at Your Business – We’ve done this with a few of our clients and we get awesome feedback and interaction. Viewers and followers love to see what happens before the Facebook posts and witty tweets. They like to see the bloopers and raw footage that reminds them they’re working with real people, people like them.
- Promote Your Upcoming Event – The live stream is a great way to announce an upcoming event and get your followers as excited as you are. Excitement is contagious, so when they see your reaction in real time, it has a different effect than would if you just post or tweet about it.
- Teasers! – Everyone loves to be the first to know about new products. If you go ‘Live’ with the announcement of your new products or features, you can create quite a buzz about your business!
- Answer FAQs – Just like answering blog post questions, Facebook Live is an awesome and easy way to answer all your FAQs, saving you time from answering them all individually!
- Finally, Engaging With Your Facebook Group Members – Even if you’re only ‘Live’ for a few minutes, showing there is a person and a personality behind a business can make a HUGE difference in customer loyalty. Asking questions like “What are you looking for from us in the new year?” or “How do you like the new ___?” is a great way to engage with your followers and build relationships with your customers.
Try using one, all, or a combination of these suggestions to build more personal relationships with your customer base!
